BMAG Neodymium Arc Magnets represent the intersection of raw power and sophisticated shaping. As “Super Magnets,” they offer holding forces and magnetic field strengths that are significantly higher than ferrite or AlNiCo alternatives. This allows designers to drastically reduce the size and weight of their final assemblies, supporting the global trend toward miniaturization in electronics and automotive engineering.
These magnets are characterized by a high Maximum Operating Temperature tailored to the specific grade chosen. While standard grades are suitable for room temperature, the BMAG advanced series can operate in environments exceeding 220°C. The arc shape is achieved through wire electrical discharge machining (EDM) or diamond grinding, ensuring a smooth finish that protects the coating integrity. They are the preferred choice for voice coil motors (VCMs) and magnetic couplings where space is at a premium but power cannot be compromised.
