The Motor Magnet category represents BMAG’s high-performance line of magnetic components dedicated to the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical motion. Understanding that the magnet is the “heart” of PM motors, we focus on maximizing the Maximum Energy Product (BHmax) to deliver the highest possible power-to-weight ratio. These magnets are essential for downsizing motors while maintaining or increasing power output.
BMAG motor magnets are characterized by low weight loss and excellent thermal stability. We strictly control the grain alignment during the manufacturing process to ensure strong anisotropy, directing the magnetic flux exactly where it is needed—across the air gap. Available in various geometries, these magnets are tested for flux consistency to ensure balanced rotor performance. They are compatible with various retention methods, including adhesive bonding and carbon fiber sleeving, making them versatile for both inner and outer rotor topologies.
