BMAG Neodymium Tube Magnets are defined by their extended axial length relative to their diameter. Unlike standard thin rings, the tube geometry provides a deep magnetic “well” and a significantly larger surface area for flux interaction. This elongated structure is perfect for creating long, uniform magnetic fields along a shaft or within a cylindrical housing, where a series of shorter magnets would be difficult to align or secure.
The tube design allows for complex magnetization patterns, including multi-pole axial or diametric magnetization. Because long tubes are naturally more susceptible to structural stress, we use a refined sintering process that increases the structural integrity of the NdFeB crystalline lattice. This reduces the risk of longitudinal cracking under thermal expansion. The interior bore is polished to a mirror finish to allow for the frictionless passage of components or fluids, making it a “smart” choice for high-tech flow control and linear motion systems where the magnetic field must be maintained over a greater distance.
