Imán Introducción
BMAG Arc Segment Neodymium Magnets offer a modular solution for constructing large-diameter magnetic rings and complex assemblies. By using individual segments rather than a single monolithic ring, engineers can achieve much larger motor diameters and simplify the assembly process. These segments are magnetized to function as a cohesive unit, allowing for the creation of powerful radial magnetic fields without the manufacturing limitations and fragility associated with large, single-piece magnets.
Each segment is precision-cut to form a perfect circle when assembled, utilizing high-grade Neodymium (NdFeB) material. This modular approach allows for the implementation of Halbach arrays, where the magnetic orientation of each segment is rotated to concentrate the field on one side while canceling it on the other. This significantly boosts efficiency in brushless DC motors and magnetic couplings. The segments are processed with chamfered edges to prevent chipping during the installation and glue-curing process.
