BMAG PTFE Coated Custom Magnets are engineered for the most aggressive chemical environments and low-friction applications. The PTFE coating is virtually inert, resisting damage from acids, solvents, and industrial chemicals that would instantly degrade standard coatings.
Additionally, the “self-lubricating” nature of Teflon provides a surface with a very low coefficient of friction, which is vital for sliding mechanisms or magnetic stir bars in laboratory settings.
We maintain tight control over the coating thickness to ensure that the final product adheres to your specific design requirements. Because of the high BHmax of the BMAG neodymium substrate, these magnets can project a strong field even through the chemically resistant PTFE layer.
